If you are curious about the world of test automation and its potential to enhance development efficiency, then this self-paced program is what you need. 

Our learning path will include several stages, offering you a step-by-step approach to gaining in-depth knowledge in this direction. By participating, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Find out the features of computer science, software development lifecycle and the principles of clean code 
  • Explore the basics of testing, version control and continuous integration 
  • Immerse into one of the programming languages (C#, Java or JavaScript) and automation tools 

Upon successful training completion, you will lay a solid foundation for further growth as a Test Automation engineer and be able to join the EPAM Lab.

Automated Testing is the process of running software tests automatically. It accelerates routine testing and examines inaccessible for manual testing code areas.

What is required for training:
  • English level from B1 (Intermediate) and higher 
  • Desire to work and develop your career in automated testing in our company 
How to get started?
  1. Register on this page. Once you fill in all the required fields, you will find the confirmation with more details in your mailbox or notifications tab. 
  2. Take an English test available in your profile. The result will not affect your participation in the program, but it is recommended to have B1 (Intermediate) level and higher. 
  3. Receive a link to the Learn platform and start studying. After the registration, you will get a link via your profile's email, or you can find it in the notifications tab. 

Please check your profile's mailbox regularly to make sure you get all important notifications. 

What will you learn?

The first preparatory stage of the program is equal for all tracks (.NET, JavaScript and Java) and will take ~10 weeks to complete, during which you will dive into: 

  • Computer Science Basics 
  • Software Development Methodologies 
  • Introduction to Testing 
  • Version Control with Git 

After this stage completion, you need to choose a programming language in which you want to develop further. 

If you select .NET Test Automation, the second stage will take ~14 weeks (recommended time) and embrace:

  • Interfaces and Abstract Classes 
  • Collections 
  • Exceptions 
  • Object-Oriented Design Principles 
  • Clean Code 
  • Continuous Integration with Jenkins

If you select JavaScript Test Automation, the second stage will take ~9 weeks (recommended time) and embrace:

  • NodeJS and Dependency Management 
  • Conditional Statements and Data Types 
  • Objects and Functions

  • Prototype and Inheritance, Classes, Constructor 
  • String, RegExp, DateTime 
  • Exception Handling 
  • Async Programming 
  • Clean Code 
  • Continuous Integration with Jenkins 
  • WebdriverIO Introduction 
  • WebdriverIO Basic Commands 
  • Automation Tools in JavaScript 

If you select Java Test Automation, the second stage will take ~14 weeks (recommended time) and embrace:
