The course is run by the community of professional Java engineers – The MJC School. This is an educational platform where seasoned developers share their Java expertise, fostering networking and tight connections among training participants. 

The learning path includes five stages, offering a step-by-step approach to gaining in-depth knowledge. By participating, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn Java, starting from its basic syntax  
  • Immerse into the modern frameworks and technologies for web development 
  • Explore the flow of building enterprise-level applications  

Upon successful training completion, you will lay a solid foundation for further growth as a Java engineer.

 The zero stage of the program will take ~2 months (recommended time) to complete, during which you will dive into:

  • Infrastructure (Environment) 
  • JDK, JRE, Git Basics, IDE, JUnit Concepts 
  • Java Lang Syntax 
  • Java Fundamentals 
  • Algorithms and Data Structures 
  • OOP/OOD Fundamentals 

The first stage of the program will take ~2 months (recommended time) to complete, during which you will explore:   

  • Exceptions 
  • String 
  • Generics 
  • Collections 
  • Stream API and Functional Programming 
  • Java I/O and NIO 
  • Concurrency Basics 
  • Data Formats (JSON, XML, YML) 

The second stage of the program will take ~1 month (recommended time) to complete, during which you will learn:   

  • Git 
  • Build Tools 
  • Web, HTTP(s) Methods 
  • Java EE Servlets 
  • SQL 
  • Architecture Basics 
  • Design Patterns 
  • Engineering Best Practices 

The third stage of the program will take ~2 months (recommended time) to complete, during which you will investigate:  

  • Advanced Architecture
  • Spring Core 
  • ORM 
  • REST Basics – Spring Web 
  • Documentation and Testing Tools for REST API 

The fourth stage of the program will take ~2 months (recommended time) to complete, during which you will dive into:   

  • CI/CD 
  • REST API Advanced 
  • Authentication & Spring Security 
  • UI Frameworks 
  • AWS
